Dates keep far longer than most people expect. Storage is less about spoilage and more about holding the texture you paid for.

| Zahidi | Cupboard | The most forgiving. No refrigeration needed |
| Mazafati | Refrigerate at 4°C | High moisture. Freezes well for up to a year |
