Notes
What it's like
The one people buy on reputation, and the one most often faked in this market. Soft and tender, dark through to the centre. The sweetness arrives late and does not linger, which is why people who find most dates cloying can eat several of these.
Best for
Iftar, the daily portion, and gifting to someone who will notice the difference.
Storage
Cool and dry, out of sunlight. Refrigerate after opening in summer. Best within 12 months of the harvest date printed on the pack.
Questions
Before you order.
How do I know this is really Ajwa Al-Madina?+
Every pack carries a batch code and a harvest year, and the grade sheet above is written against that specific batch. If what arrives does not match the count per kilo or the moisture we published, send it back and we will refund it.
Where exactly does it come from?+
This variety is grown in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. We publish the growing region rather than just the country, because a country name tells you almost nothing about a date.
How long will it keep?+
Cool and dry, out of sunlight. Refrigerate after opening in summer. Best within 12 months of the harvest date printed on the pack.
How many pieces will I get?+
At a count of 110 – 130 per kilo, a 500 g pack holds roughly half that number. Counting them once is the easiest check you can do at home.
What if I order the wrong variety?+
Tell us within seven days and we will exchange it, unopened, at our cost. Choosing between six varieties from a screen is genuinely hard.
Do you deliver outside Lahore?+
Yes, across Pakistan. Cash on delivery is available nationwide, and paying by bank transfer, Easypaisa or JazzCash carries a discount.
